Inlayed Christmas Ornament

During his demonstration Jack will make an inlayed ornament, explaining how he made the router jig and how it is used to make the necessary cuts for the inlays. He will also show an easy way to make an indexing wheel to evenly space the inlays.

Jack's specialties are Christmas Ornaments, Lidded Boxes, and spin tops (with and without inlays).He is a member of Turners Anonymous in Pittsburgh, Indiana County Woodturners, (Indiana, PA), the AAW, and the Craftman's Guild of Pittsburgh. Jack has done numerous demonstrations for clubs in Pennsylvania, Western NY, WV and Canada, and for the SWAT Symposium in Texas and the AAW Symposium in Orlando, FL. He attended classes at the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, with both Bonnie Klein and Michael Mocho. Jack is a retired excavating contractor and has been turning for 11 years.
