We continue the GSWT tradition of holding a critique meeting in July. This is an opportunity to share current work with others, get feedback and suggestions, maybe resolve some lingering design concerns. ...And - perhaps your best chance all year to see what other turners are up to.
This year's 2013 critique was held at the League of NH Craftsmen Headquarters in Concord NH

Our moderator this year was be Ray LaBranche.
Ray LaBranche completed an art degree from UNH, intending to teach High School pottery. At that time, no NH schools offered such a program - but Ray founded one at Salem and another at Winnacunnet, eventually rising to art department chair and teaching a wide variety of courses for 36 years. He has also taught at Exeter Fine Crafts and exhibited as a state-juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen stores and annual Sunapee fair. His "Newfields Potter" studio/shop has been well-known locally since 1965.

Although the attendance was lighter then past years those who did attend were not disappointed.

Many thanks to The League for hosting and to our Moderator Ray LaBranche
