MILTON — Dave Foote, president of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers, and Dr. Annamarie Pennucci, also from the Guild, recently delivered a donation of equipment worth approximately $5,500 to the Nute Middle High School Woodworking Program.

This donation included three Rikon VSR mini-lathes, turning tools, a sharpening system, and miscellaneous safety equipment.

Foote and Pennucci worked with Ben Carleton, Nute’s woodworking teacher, as part of the Guild Grant Program. The Guild is dedicated to furthering woodworking through the sharing of knowledge, skills, and experience among its members and the general public, and provides grants to institutions, organizations, and schools to assist them in the furtherance of the woodworking education of students and individuals.

“Nute is grateful for their support of our programs, said Prinicpal Jan Radowicz.
