This is an in-depth, piece by piece, hands on, personal tour of the Furniture Master’s exhibit by Furniture Master Ted Blachly. It’s an opportunity to see, touch and ask questions of each piece.

As part of the Guild's sponsorship of the NH Furniture Masters exhibit at the NH Historical Society in Concord, one of the NH Furniture Masters (usually Terry Moore) gives a personalized tour off each of the pieces for Guild members.  Each piece is discussed and key features, joinery and finish are pointed out.

This year, Ted Blachly will be giving the tour at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 19. This will give those attending one of the Small Meetings plenty of time to get there for the tour and talk.

The tour will take about one hour and this is the last day of the exhibit so don't miss this great opportunity.

There will be a brief overview of NHFMA from 1996 to 2013 and then a walk through tour of the pieces on exhibit providing background on the makers, design, and  construction of the pieces on view. This year's catalog and a limited supply of catalogs from previous years will be available for sale.

Attendees may also want to visit The Furniture Masters Gallery at 49 south Main St Concord NH to see a show titled "Fast Forward" that features work by young makers who have been mentored by Garrett Hack.  Hours: M-F 9:00- 5:00, Saturday 9:00- 3:00 Sunday closed.
