One of the benefits of Guild memberships is access to our classified ads, where members can buy, sell, or give away tools, materials, and other woodworking-related items. By following the guidelines below, you can create effective classified ads that attract potential buyers and ensure a smooth selling process.
Guidelines for Inclusion:
Item Specifics: Clearly state what you’re selling (e.g., woodworking tools, furniture, materials).
Condition: Describe the condition of the item (e.g., new, used, excellent condition).
Reason for Selling: Briefly explain why you’re selling the item (e.g., upgrade, downsizing, no longer needed).
Price: Specify a fair price or a price range.
Contact Information: Include your phone number or email address for potential buyers to reach you directly.
Clear and well-lit: Take photos in a clutter-free environment with good lighting.
Multiple angles: Show the item from different angles to provide a comprehensive view.
Clean and presentable: Ensure the item is clean and ready to be used.
Contact the Classified Ad Moderator: Use the “Contact Classified Ad Moderator” button on the website.
Provide details: Describe the item(s) you want to sell, including the information mentioned above.
Share photos: The moderator will contact you to collect photos of the item(s).
Security: For security reasons, only our moderator can post ads directly to the site.
Moderator assistance: The moderator will review your ad and post it on your behalf.

A 1925 P-24 Crescent (Leetonia, OH) cast-iron direct drive 4-knife planer with a capacity of 24″ x 8″. Running condition. Originally purchased out of a shipyard in Portland, ME and then spent another 20 years of sporadic use in the Biddeford, ME area for antique home restoration needs before coming to me. Cutter head is driven by a 5 HP 3P motor and the variable speed feed is driven by a 1 HP 3P motor. Included are VFDs for both 5 HP and 1 HP motors, 4 extra sets of blades.

Rockwell 14” Band Saw model 28-200 with Carter blade guides. Includes 20 blades (most are new) Timber Wolf, Starrett and Lennox etc. Lenths 93” & 93 ½”, width ranges from 1/4” – ½”. Motor HP ½ 7.8 Amps single phase can be wired for 220V.
Note: quality blades cost $20 and up these days.

Carpenter’s tool chest from possibly late 1800’s/early 1900’s that was my great uncle’s. The chest is made from multiple wood species – cherry, oak, maple and pine, dovetail joinery, sliding trays, and recessed handles. Interior wood has fabulous patina.

Elu DAH 176 jointer/planer built in W. Germany. Uncertain of its history as it was given to me but probably is 40 years old or more. It needs some TLC to make adjustments work. It runs, I used it for planing.
Hi. This is guild member Arriyan Peagler. I am a woodcarver who is seeking a workspace or studio space to continue honing my carving skills. I am currently working in an old elementary school gym and which will unfortunately be demolished in March of 2026 to lay a foundation for a new apartment building. I will be an “unhoused” sculptor in desperate need of a place to go after work (preferably detached from an home) and continue creating new work.
If you know of anyone that has a space that they are willing to rent out, please let them know I am interested.
