By following the guidelines below, you can create effective classified ads that attract potential buyers and ensure a smooth selling process.
Guidelines for Inclusion:
Item Specifics: Clearly state what you’re selling (e.g., woodworking tools, furniture, materials).
Condition: Describe the condition of the item (e.g., new, used, excellent condition).
Reason for Selling: Briefly explain why you’re selling the item (e.g., upgrade, downsizing, no longer needed).
Price: Specify a fair price or a price range.
Contact Information: Include your phone number or email address for potential buyers to reach you directly.
Clear and well-lit: Take photos in a clutter-free environment with good lighting.
Multiple angles: Show the item from different angles to provide a comprehensive view.
Clean and presentable: Ensure the item is clean and ready to be used.
Contact the Classified Ad Moderator: Use the “Contact Classified Ad Moderator” button on the website.
Provide details: Describe the item(s) you want to sell, including the information mentioned above.
Share photos: The moderator will contact you to collect photos of the item(s).
Security: For security reasons, only our moderator can post ads directly to the site.
Moderator assistance: The moderator will review your ad and post it on your behalf.

Clearing out a premium selection of locally harvested, rough-sawn maple lumber. This entire collection came from a single, large local tree and has been carefully stickered and air-drying indoors for over 3 years. Everything is thoroughly seasoned, stable, and ready for your fall and winter shop projects.
Because this all came from one tree, the grain characteristics, color tones, and natural figuring match perfectly across both lots—ideal for high-end custom furniture makers, cabinet builders, or epoxy artisans.

LOT 1: 230 Board Feet Spalted Maple Bulk Lot
Lot Price: $1,800 OBO
• Volume: ~230 board feet total (Selling as a single bulk lot)
• Thickness: 7/8″ rough-sawn (will comfortably plane down to standard 3/4″ stock)
• Widths: Dynamic range of widths, including premium boards up to 12 inches wide.
• Character: Beautiful, high-contrast natural “black line” spalting. As is typical with heavily spalted wood, there are some punky/soft areas in sections of the boards. Priced accordingly as a bulk lot, leaving massive yield for furniture or choice sections for luthiers and turners.
LOT 2: Book-Matched Live-Edge Slabs (Variable Thicknesses)
Lot Price: $750 for all 10 slabs (Or priced by individual mirroring pairs below)
• Character: Striking crotch grain feathering and prominent natural knots—absolutely ideal for clear or colored epoxy resin fills and custom tables.
Available Pairs (Varying Thicknesses):
• 20″ Wide Master Sets (2 Pairs Available): ~20″ W x 90″ L. Highly figured crotch grain and a unique narrow limb junction. Great for statement coffee tables or console tops. One pair is a heavy-duty, chunkier 2″ thick cut; the other sits at 1 1/2″ thickness. $250 per book-matched pair (2 slabs).
• 16″ Wide Mid-Size Sets (2 Pairs Available): ~16″ W x 90″ L. Clean lengths with mirroring live edges. Ideal for benches, floating shelves, or splitting for a river table pour. Slabs run 1 1/4″ to 1 1/2″ thick. $180 per book-matched pair (2 slabs).
• 68″ Statement Coffee Table Set (1 Pair Available): 12″ to 18″ W x 68″ L. Beautiful wide flair, intense crotch figuring, and a large central knot configuration begging for an epoxy project. Slabs run 1 1/4″ to 1 1/2″ thick. $140 for the pair (2 slabs).

Complete lathe setup for sale
A good friend just died and his widow is looking to clean
out his shop in their basement. He was an accomplished
woodturner, carver, and woodworker.
The lathe is a Powermatic 3520A, considered a gold
standard lathe, made in the United States.
A large number of
skews, gouges,
scrapers parting
tools and tool
rests are included.
There is also a
coring cutter, for taking nesting bowls out of a
single blank.
Also included are a variety of spindles and chucks.
To keep the tools sharp, there is a Baldor 2 wheel
grinder included (with/2 spare, new wheels). The
gouge sharpening jig, guards, and grinding guides come
with it.
To collect the chips a

Known Flaws (please read before purchasing):
-The bolts on one of the extension wings are a bit loose, causing the wing to not sit perfectly flat/level. The bolts should be able to be tightened to get it flat and level again.
-There is a slight bend/dent in the center of the stand, so the table no longer sits 100% level. This could be shimmed to level it out, or the saw could be removed from this base and mounted on a new stand.
