Alan Saffron, Merrimack, NH
Based on the skills I learned from elective high school and college furniture making courses, years later my woodworking advanced to the next level when I ‘discovered’ woodworking magazines focusing on the real craftsmanship of woodworking and furniture making.
Later in 2004 I attended my first Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers meeting and demonstration. Having actively attended since, the Guild’s programs have developed my breadth of skills and knowledge, and has taken my woodworking from a hobby to a true avocation.
I continue to develop as a woodworker and furniture maker, making small tables, chests, and other assorted pieces part time in my shop next to my home in Merrimack, NH.
