Cynthia Ellis began a creative journey, driving (on a lark) from NH to CA in 1978, and joining Berkeley's street artist scene after finishing college at UCSF. Dad's con"grad"ulations gift bought 2nd-hand tools and she began creating pocket-boxes, silly toys and gadgets to manage some task for herself or a customer.

Since 2009 she has focused on essential tools for fiber artists—some featured in magazines of the trade. Juried membership in the League of NH Craftsmen (2010) prompted a short shop video. This year, a live (virtual) guest appearance on “It’s Sew Road” reviewed her 45-year wood crafting history.

Soon she’ll be turning wood daily at the nearly-normal, 88th Annual Craftsmen’s Fair.
