Student Woodturning Competition a Stunning Success!
Holy WOW! Sixty (60!) students enjoyed a terrific woodturning day-out-of-school, complete with contemporary and traditional woodworking demonstrations, a farm tour and lots and lots of prizes!
League of NH Craftsman’s Fair August 4–12, 2012
The League of NH Craftsmen’s Fair is one of the finest, most prestigious craft events in the country today. This annual nine-day event features both traditional and contemporary fine craftwork by juried members of the League of NH Craftsmen. The Fair is held at the beautiful Mount Sunapee Ski Resort in Newbury, NH.

1. J. Blood from Antrim won the Windsor candle stand from Fred Chellis.
2. Costoromo from Manchester, “The Old Man,” from Myrl Phelps.
3. Lisa Bazzinoth from Lunenburg, MA. A selection of Hal Liberty’s wooden toys.
4. Hilda Weiss from Henniker won Donnie Chesser’s Windsor chair.
Sunapee Fair 2011 Has Come and Gone
The 2011 Sunapee Fair has come and gone, and once again the Guild’s tent remains a real crowd pleaser. Every day, people attending the fair were clustered around Guild members demonstrating a variety of woodworking skills. They also looked at the thirty-two remarkable items donated for our raffle and reached for their wallets and purses.
