Aside from the regular Guild meetings, members are welcome to become part of the various subgroups (special interest groups). Each holds its own series of meetings per year on topics of interest to its members.

Dutch Hand Plane Meeting Resources

Attached are some plans and templates discussed at the meeting April 14, 2018. As Dave Anderson noted, one great source of information in helping you with your plane build is “Making Traditional Wooden Planes,” by John M. Whelan.

We will have a lot more to do and discuss at the June Meeting and BBQ … we will also have some additional resources and a refined carving template.

GSWT Meeting November 26, 2016

The first of many GSWT meetings at the MakerSpace in Manchester NH.

    We kicked off the meeting with an introduction to the MakerSpace and how we, The GSWT might use it. The idea was tossed around about having more then 6 meeting a year and that we could meet weekly or at lease monthly to make better us of the space.

The meeting was at Peter Bloch's shop in New London. The meeting opened with a promotion for the upcoming Symposium on May 9th at Pinkerton Academy. After a brief show and tell. The meeting turned to a series of tips and tricks from Peter Bloch, Jim Forbes, Claude Dupuis, Jon Siegel and Gary.

Granite State Luthiers meeting on 15 March 2015

Put down your shovel and make note of our next meeting at noon on March 15th. We'll gather at Al Carruth's shop in Newport where, in addition to the usual freewheeling discussion, we'll sharpen our knowledge of "Scrapers." We will also talk about our presentation to the Guild members at the General Meeting on April 18th in Deerfield.
